Mangalore is made up of many Old, beautiful & historic temples it is called as “Devastana.” You will find one temple at every big city. Temples at south are very neat and clean. You won’t find single bit of dirty anywhere in that temple. Especially people are kept to look after cleanliness. They continuously keep on cleaning and sweeping the ground and area around. And specialty of ever temple is that there is either small pond or some water facilities to clean your legs. After cleaning your legs you can enter inside temple.
 
     
 
Puja in temple is being conducted by bhattji. Who live in temple and take care of it. Devotees or any other people other than bhattji can not do puja as well as they can not go inside the border line to touch the god status.

Kudroli Gokarnath Temple : Kudroli Gokarnath Temple has been recently renovated to make it a tourist attraction of the city.  
     
 
Dharmastala Devastana : Dharmastala is known for the Jain bastis including the famous Manjunatha Temple sporting the 14-m-high Bahubali statue in an open ground. Visitors can see the statue clearly.  
     
 
Subramaniam Devastana: It is temple of “Subramaniam” god. He is called a “Murugan Swami” or “Kartik Swami”. Temple is so big and clean. There is one kind smell moving around inside the temple. You will experience pin drop silence in temple.
 
     
 
Mangalore Beach: There are number of beaches. Ullal is one of them. Ullal beach is one of the most famous beaches of Mangalore.  
     
 
Taneerbhavi Beach: This beach is very near to the Mangalore Port. It is clean and hygienic. The riverbanks are neat you can sit with your family or friends to enjoy the fresh air and healthy environment.  
     
 
Panambur beach: All the beaches in Mangalore are very clean & it is delight to visit beaches of Mangalore.  
     
 
Theaters: There are number of theaters in town. They are famous for Kannada, Konkani movies.  
     
 
Karnataka is also famous for its classic dance. It is known as “Yakshagana.” It is a play in which only mens participate. No womens are involved in this play. Men plays role of both men and womens. They color their face and decorate themselves using heavy metal ornaments. Even they make decorative stuff using coconut leaves and palm fruit.
